In the Bible God calls you to count your many blessings. As far back as Joel 2:23 we read, “Be glad, people of Zion, rejoice in the Lord your God, for he has given you the autumn rains because he is faithful. He sends you abundant showers, both autumn and spring rains, as before.” Of course, this was written for people who were highly dependent upon agriculture for survival. Nonetheless, this scripture tells us to thank God for even the smallest of things in life. Unfortunately, we often see the thorns more often than the roses but here are some things to thank God for today...
